On Friday afternoon Ben had to go back up to the Olympic Park to run an errand. What was the errand, you ask? Oh, just to fetch Olympic Gold Medalist, Jimmy Shae's helmet from a display in order to mail it to a girl competing in Vancouver next week in the skeleton. It was our lucky day because Mr. Jimmy Shae himself showed up just as we were leaving AND he just happened to have his gold medal with him AND he asked if we wanted to hold it AND he was super nice and took a picture with us to boot. By the way, gold medals are heavy! Oh, yeah AND Sophie got a much needed bath.
